Instrument Landing Systems

ASMI installs, certifies and maintains instrument landing systems across the country. These system range in complexity from a CAT II multiple runway system at Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus Ohio, to numerous CAT I systems as well as Localizer approaches.

VOR/DME Maintenance

ASMI installs, certifies, and maintains non-federal VORs and DMEs across the US. These NAVAIDs allow for greater safety when landing at airports that may not qualify as part of the National Airspace System.

AWOS Maintenance

ASMI installs, certifies, and maintains Automated Weather Observing Systems (AWOS). ASMI utilizes only digital test equipment to ensure that the AWOS reporting parameters are accurate.

NDB Maintenance

NDBs still play a vital role in the National Airspace System. ASMI is one of a handful of companies throughout the US with the experience and knowledge required to ensure that your NDB is transmitting an accurate signal for navigation. 

Other Services

ASMI maintains the tower communication equipment in many of the non-federal Control Towers around the US.
ASMI routinely consults with our customers concerning NAVAID installations, upgrades, relocations and how new construction on the airport may effect existing NAVAIDs on the field.
